The ornament is applied by laser engraving. The finishing and curing cycle takes up to 40 days. The surface is treated with a blend of natural oils, tung oil and carnauba wax.

Lasco.Ukraine ETNA is an end grain cutting board made from solid ash, combining a functional construction with a distinctive 12-sided geometry and Ukrainian decorative motifs.
The board measures 31 cm in diameter and 41 mm in thickness. Its substantial end grain construction provides a stable working surface for everyday food preparation, while the natural ash grain pattern makes every board visually unique.

Ornament Inspired by Borshchiv Embroidery
The outer edge of the board features an original ornament developed with inspiration from traditional Borshchiv embroidery.
The pattern is applied by precision laser engraving without paints, films or applied decorative elements. The ornament is part of the ETNA series identity, combining contemporary product geometry with motifs inspired by Ukrainian decorative art.
Materials and Finish
The main material is solid ash. The board is bonded using Titebond III adhesive.
Each board goes through a multi-stage finishing and curing cycle lasting up to 40 days. The wood is treated with a blend of natural oils, tung oil and carnauba wax.
The extended finishing process allows the wood to complete its absorption and curing stages before the finished board is packed and prepared for shipment.
